This is the bullshittiest bullshit I can think of.

I mean, the Conan v. Jay Leno shit sucked (going to see CoCo next week OMG!).

But, this is the worst thing ever.

Sulk.

Well, I have got to say that if and when SVU goes away, I'm going to be crabby if I don't have my Richard Belzer fix.

Will you be watching? Do you think it will last like SVU and CI, or will it die out like Trial & Jury?
I'll give it a try, but I think it will die out pretty quickly.

LOL! When I have a bad day, I throw on SVU via Netflix.

I'm another one who stopped watching L&O when Jerry Orbach died. Still not thrilled about the show ending though. I usually just watch SVU.

This sucks, but looking at my DVR, I think I watch SVU more anyway.

As far as CI is concerned, IMO it doesn't exist now that Goren and Eames are gone. It's now the Jeff Goldblum Show.

agzg - if Conan still has his beard tell him for me that he needs to keep it - I think it's totally sexy.

I have to look at L&O: LA, because I am so curious. I am forever a follower of SVU and I still love the original. CI is just boring now and I miss TBJ.

Anyone remember L&O: Crime and Punishment? Now THAT was a strange one. It was the one showing real court cases. It was like watching an hour version of those court channels. It was just too hard to watch without the familiar formats.

I adored L&O:Crime and Punishment. I think it was on for two summers in a row. I liked how it was "just like" the show, in terms of the first half being about solving the crime and the second half being about the prosecution.

Yeah, that was a good one. They always take the good shows off the air, though. Skin only lasted for half a season and it was the best thing that was on in a while.

I always had a little crush on Jack McCoy, but lately he's just turned into a crochety old man. I think they've just kept it on the air for the last few years simply because it was L&O. So at least I saw this one coming!

Ditto on McCoy, but with the current ADAs all I see is "Batman's Dad." I'm sure the guy has done other roles besides that, but in my head... "Batman's Dad."

L&O has a habit of recycling actors for different roles, and I hate that because I've seen just about all of them at least once. Some of them, I can see the first 10 seconds and tell you what will happen in the next hour. The one that absolutely killed me, though, is the chick that plays Elliot's wife was in a fairly memorable L&O episode before she appeared on SVU, and her L&O character was executed for killing a cop.

I think I need help. I wonder if there are any L&O Anonymous groups out there, haha!!!

I do the exact same thing! It's bad too if you go to any shows in NYC because EVERYONE on Broadway has done L&O at some point. I'll sit through a show whispering to my husband or my friend, Wes, "Yeah, that's the guy that went crazy and killed the girl who was working with him at the mental clinic. He turned out to be a lawyer, and he defended himself once he got back on his meds."
