I do the exact same thing! It's bad too if you go to any shows in NYC because EVERYONE on Broadway has done L&O at some point. I'll sit through a show whispering to my husband or my friend, Wes, "Yeah, that's the guy that went crazy and killed the girl who was working with him at the mental clinic. Speaking of crazy people, there's one chick that plays a girl who is crazy, on a bunch of meds, rich, and named Mercedes, and is somewhat of a main character in an episode. And she's a main character in another episode, where she is crazy again with multiple personality disorder. Talk about being pigeonholed.

I like most episodes- the ones that I can't stand are the "ripped from the headlines" bullcrap. Maybe that's another reason why I like the older ones better.

A couple of the regulars first showed up as perps...one of the first female cops and one of the ADAs were prostitutes before they got the regular gigs.

Yeah and one of the original L&Os ADAs was a stripper in law school before coming back as the ADA. Not as the same character

Oh yeah, that was the sister-mama! She does play crazy a lot! I don't like the ripped from the headlines epi's either...you can figure them out too easily.
