Also, let me say that I come from a Big Ten school but I was born and raised in the South but moved north for college..I realize that my lip stud at southern schools wouldn't fly, most likely. Up here, it is more liberal and the culture is certainly different than at southern schools.

I'm also from a Big Ten school as well. Piercings are way more common among sorority women here, but I still would suggest you remove them for recruitment or go with a very small stud. The two women I know with piercings did that and it worked out well for them.

Anyways, as kddani said, you don't want to distract the women you speak to with your nose/lip ring.
