Huh? I thought you were an attorney. Make up your mind.

Actually, my parents did pay for my dues. I was a commuter and it was kind of a trade-off to keep me from wanting to go away to school. I was one of the few, though. One girl's grandmother paid her dues, but most of them worked and paid their own. And I did pay for the extras, such as t-shirts, favors, dances, etc, and my living expenses when I lived in the house.

I am very thankful for my parents and it doesn't make me not involved. The financial stability of you or anyone isn't what makes you involved from the start, I know girls that parents pay their dues and they hardly come around and even some girls that pay their own and yet you never see them at the house.
Hopefully that $1-3000 will go to your baby. He/she will have a lot of needs.

Don't worry, ree-Xi, she's not paying dues. She's too busy switching user names from miss_etiquette to love bean to horse_girl.

So far she's claimed at least two sororities and one school. I wonder who will be next?

Wtf? Something seems very wrong about that. 1000 for dues, but only 3 if you live in?

ETA: and to answer the original question- I paid my own dues for 2 years. This past year my parents took over paying (I’m so grateful )
