I agree. I don't think chapters can either which makes a lot of these questions difficult. In general, I think the answer is no for a lot of these questions, but most of our organizations have more liberal chapters that may say "yes." It's still pretty early in the transgender movement. Not many people really understand what is going on with this issue, so I don't expect at this time many people would be open to offering membership to an openly transgendered applicant. Times will likely change if history is any lesson.
