				What do you call it?

I think it's so interesting what some of us call paraphernalia. In the South, I've noticed that most greeks refer to it as para or paro, while most greeks I know up here (in Ohio) call it 'nalia (nell-ya) or gear.
What's it called where you're from?

 (Just curious)

I was initiated in California and went to school in Alabama - we always call it "nalia" - we would always call soror's who have on too many different items at once "over-nalia'ed". You know how some neos cross and put on a Delta shirt, hat, tennis shoes with the delta shoe strings, and carry an umbrella, even if it isn't raining...LOL - OVER-NALIA'ED!!!
I never heard "para", "perry", "peri", or "paro" until I moved to the east coast, or saw folks using those terms on the 'net.

I thought the same thing this afternoon that a thread had one reply but 3000+ views but here it is when my Partner in Crime split the thread, it takes the number of views and divides in 1/2.

Well in crooked letter (or Mississippi for those who don't know)we called it paro. But in my 7 years I have heard it called just about everything. Also, if someone had on a hat, shirt, etc. together, we said they had on double or triple paro

I've always heard 'Nalia, para or Perry. So that just kind of stuck with me. I've never heard paro, even though it's very similar to para.
