This. Tribal Council was awesome, and I can't wait to see next week, where we see the wrath and scrambling of Russell who was "lied to."
Russell is not in a good place now. (How much fun was it to watch him give Parvati his idol?) I can totally see Sandra teaming with the Heroes to get Russell out (and would love for it to work), but the producers have already shown us one preview where things work out as announced ("the dumbest move ever"), so I'm not looking for Russell to go home next week. Maybe he wins immunity?
Meanwhile, I love watching Parvati.

Even if Russell finds himself in the F3 (or is it 2?), I think he's going to have a really hard time winning. He already has 3 people on the jury who probably hate him. I can tell that Coach is just waiting to say something to him, Courtney despises him, and I'm willing to bet JT isn't too fond of him right now.
It would be another one of those situations where he has to hope that people are impressed with his gameplay above everything else. However, I don't see it going that way.
I think the only way he could win is if he finds himself up against Pavarti.

She knows how to play to his ego, and that's the key with him. But I bet he was pissed he gave her an idol when she already had one.
Meanwhile, Reality News Online has its interview with JT posted. Worth reading.

^^ Interesting...
JT talking about giving away his immunity idol:
J.T.: No. No one ever really tried to talk me out of giving it away. I think Amanda brought it up once for about five minutes. Everybody was on board – it was more a tribe thing than it came off.

I got off of work early, so I was able to catch this a few minutes ago (although the video on cbs.com SUCKED! I kept having to start it over)
Fabulous, fabulous. What a play. If Parv makes it to the end, she's a sure-win.

I think Rupert and Sandra have teamed up and since Sandra tried to tell Rupert the real deal and the former Heroes were skeptical, her trying to warn them will give her credibility going forward.
The previews seem to lead you to believe that Sandra suddenly has some power and she wants the head of the troll on a stick....boy this one is getting good.

I'm actually sad to see Amanda's streak broken. I think Parv need to last 2 more days to take the record for most time playing Survivor ever.
I think Amanda was stupid for giving the clue back to Danielle - at least without reading it first. That should have been the compromise, everyone should have read it. It didn't have to be an all-or-nothing thing.

Agreed. I was surprised that Colby was so unmotivated during that whole scene. He practically seems resigned to jury-hood.

Why do they keep replacing the HII? It would have been more enjoyable knowing that Parv got rid of the 2 she had and there were no more.

I wasn't really paying attention last night when they found the HII, so I'm not sure where that specfic one was hidden, however... is it just me, or are they getting easier and easier to find?
I don't mind that they put new ones back in the game when two are used, but make it a challenge! One clue basically gives the whole thing away, and everyone knows exactly where to look.

Interesting choice Russell made last night - all in the name of "being in charge", because if he would have just let things fall into place, he would have easily made F3, barring any unexpected immunity wins (or Sandra actually being strategic with the HII - not holding my breath on that one).

Yep. I just really don't get his strategy. He is so focused on controlling everything that he seems to completely ignore the jury. It's the same mistake he made last time -- being so (over-)confident that everyone will be in awe of him that he doesn't put any work at all into into courting future votes. When it was clear he was targeting Danielle last night, I kept waiting for her to say "You vote me out and you have no chance at my vote on the jury, and you're going to need every vote you can get." 'Course, he wouldn't have believed it, and at that point he didn't know how the previous season's votes had gone.
But Danielle didn't say that; instead she ran her mouth about being "closer to Parvati than you think" and cried. Wonder if that sealed Jerri's vote for her.

What you said. Although I'm not so sure he has a strategy to "get" anymore. I think he's so focused on controlling everything that strategy is out the window. Why in the world, with the numbers the way they were, would he have thought that that was the right time to get rid of Danielle (or anyone in his alliance for that matter)? He wants control so badly that he sacrificed part of his alliance just to prove a point? That's crazy. I mean really, I can't find any kind of rationale to explain why he thought that was a good move. I really think the game has taken its toll on him. He's basically been playing for 2+ months straight, after all.

I hope Jerri is given enough air-time to explain this next week. It makes perfect sense for Rupert and Colby to have voted for Danielle, but I can't help but wonder why Jerri did.
It'll also be interesting to see the exchange between Russell and Parv next week.
