This girl...hmm. My thoughts are running ramped but one of the things that sticks out is when she (& Tianna) were at the award/fundraiser, Chili was saying the guys were too conservative and such and my immediate thought was she is out of her element, socially. I'll leave it at that.

That list of hers will keep her SINGLE for a LONG time if she doesn't snap out of it.

Most importantly, has she let go of the baby hair?

I heard about this show and some of the hype and the only thing I really have to say about this whole mess (b/c any "reality show" is a hot mess) is I had no idea that's how she spelled her name. I thought it was "Chili."

I'll have to watch the first episode when this week calms down.

She did acknowledge in the episode that she settled many times in the past and got hurt or didn't get what she wanted so now she wants what she wants, no exceptions. I can certainly relate to her thinking but it's just nearly impossible to find all the things she wants in one person. And not that such a person doesn't exist, but your chances of one day meeting up with such a person is pretty slim; I would think that such a person would definitely be taken. If she gets rid of some of the more superficial things on her list, her chances will increase.

I think that Chilli and Floyd should take their relationship passed the friend level. Sometimes what you're looking for is right in front of your face and the chemistry between them is crazy.

Yes, I say let it go although I can't talk too much really. When my hair is pulled back in a ponytail I bring my "short hairs" (I refuse to believe it's still baby hair although it does feel like it) down toward my face, but at least it's not long and overdone.

I know, right??? HOWEVER, how can she not budge on drinking and eating pork but having 2 different "baby mamas" is okay? Maybe I'm just thinking with a 24yo mind on that one and things are different at her stage of life (and if "ex-wife" is included in "baby mama" that makes more sense).

To be quite honest, I think most women have a laundry list in their heads and, perhaps on an unconscious level, disqualify men for superficial reasons. Chilli's just so daggone bold about hers. But she's obviously flexible about them because ol' boy from the social function eats pork and she's willing to have a second date with him.

What is the problem with pork? Is she Jewish or Muslim? Otherwise, what is wrong with pulled pork sandwiches?

I can relate to her list. After I broke up with my ex and thought to myself, what do I want ideally want in a man? Why? Because I'd not thought about it before.

Once I did I promptly realized that A) This man doesn't exist and B) I really don't care. I think it's okay to want what you want and as you go along flex it to your needs. You've gotta start somewhere and if you don't make a starting point, it probably won't end well. The guy probably will be nothing like the list at the end anyway .

Chilli is a hot damn mess. If I were (somewhat) famous like her, no way on earth would I go after a guy who looks like Usher. I don't think she has high enough standards.

Actually I think most men have a laundry list and it's mostly based on the superficial. How many times have you heard of a man (and some will admit it) passing over a great woman because he wants to wait for someone prettier or with a better body? And on top of that, with an ego that's larger than life, enough to think that this woman will want him even though she's a 10 and he's a 2. LOL! Funny. Like I always say, if you strike gold, why keep digging? But sadly, many keep digging indeed and often because of the superficial.

No, she's Christian but a lot of people won't eat pork. I don't know a lot who are bothered by other people eating it, though. Maybe so their lifestyles won't clash? Like how some vegans will only date other vegans to avoid dinnertime conflict? LOL I have no clue TBH.

One of my classmates once said "I don't think I'm my type's type." I think that fits here.

Actually I was a Vegetarian for a few years and a Vegan for a hot minute (and I do mean a hot minute) and this has to do with the non-eater's perception of internal cleanliness. For example, many "cultural" Vegetarians (those that totally embrace a Vegetarian and "Healthy" lifestyle, not those that simply don't eat meat) see meat eaters as unclean internally and will even find the body odor of meat eaters offensive. I can admit that when I was a Vegetarian my body odor was less strong in every way, from the smell of my burps to the smell of my "you know what" so there is definitely truth to this. Meat causes stronger (more offensive) smells and I personally believe that people who eat red meat frequently, generally have stronger odors than those who eat mostly chicken and fish and definitely stronger than Vegetarians and Vegans. Other bodily fluids will often have a stronger smell also. I know Vegetarians/Vegans that have vowed to only date Vegetarians/Vegans because of these issues. It's like a non-smoker refusing to date a smoker because they can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke and the breath of smokers.

All I can say is, you must have been eating WAY different stuff than the Vegetarians/Vegans I know, because my experience has been the opposite. Gardenburgers...that's all I have to say. "Clear the room" is an understatement.

LOL! I ate mostly fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, cheese, yogurt, and grains. The commercial "Vegetarian" packaged foods found in most commercial supermarkets are a different story entirely. There are Vegetarians/Vegans that won't go near that stuff and consider it junk.
