I think you have some sound predictions there Sydney... here are my thoughts.
Villains- if they are smart & go to tribal, they'll vote out Russell. I think he's at a HUGE advantage for knowing everybody else's game, personalities, etc while they know nothing of him. If they were really smart, they should've voted out Russell in the first vote because he was such an unknown but obviously categorized as a villain.
I'd love to see more air time from some of the villains. Courtney for one liners, even Tyson has his moments- and we still haven't figured out who Danielle is, so why don't they show us more of her so we can figure it out? All I know about her is she has ruffled bottoms.
I also like Rob this season, which is funny because he's normally set up so people don't like him. But he's pretty much the glue holding the tribe together, and often seems like the only one with a sound thought in his brain. Things like "let's build a shelter" and "here's how you do a puzzle"... you know, the basics. I think without him, the villains would have had many more problems and may have been more even with the heroes.
Heroes- I would love to see James go. I mean, seriously, why is he so drama-filled this season? I swear this is more than he's spoken in his entire life. I liked him in the past but he's just digging his own grave (ha!), word by word. If only they didn't have pre-determined alliances. Colby would be another option, since he's obviously on the outs and getting rid of him would also diffuse some of the tribe's tension. I think James causes more tension by just opening his mouth, though.
On the Heroes side... I'm rooting for Candace at this point. Even if she is a bit of an underdog.

I had class tonight and missed the show. Who is no longer competing? Anything good that I missed?

Finally an INTERESTING episode!
I don't like it when they make both tribes go to tribal - it feels so forced - like they just can't stand to watch the Heroes lose any more, so they do something like this.
Russell was GENIUS, and I can't believe that his hare-brained plan worked. I like how Tyson's last line was "I'm still awesome".
Random question: Has anyone heard if Amanda is still dating Ozzy? If she was, you think that would have been brought up by now...

Agreed!
I'm kinda surprised that the Heroes kept Colby instead of James. I understand why they did, I'm just surprised they actually did it. Especially Amanda.

Daffy: Tyson and James were voted out. Regarding something good that you missed... the look on Rob's face when he realized Tyson was going home instead of Russell was priceless. Gotta love those blindsides!

Tyson, You are an idiot!!
I hate that Russel thinks he's such a genius and far outplaying Rob. Rob had the whole thing figured out, and stupid Tyson ruined it! What was the point of him voting for Parvati anyway! With the split 3/3 vote, they could have voted her out anyway if Russel had kept his idol!
IDIOT! Don't say you're still awesome when you got voted out because of your utter stupidity!!
I'm hating Russel this season! Maybe because I'm loving Rob, he is totally holding that team together by winning challenges - they'd be as "off" as the heroes if he wasn't there!

Tyson was really dumb for switch his vote. Daffy- basically Rob proposed that 3 of them vote for Parvati and 3 vote for Russell. Then either the idol will be flushed out and the other will go home, or it'll be a tie with no idol and they'd just revote to send Parvati home. Tyson was assigned to vote for Russell, but really wanted Parvati to go home. So instead of being smart and sticking to the plan, he voted for Parvati. Russell pulled out the idol but handed it to Parvati to play. Parvati's votes didn't count, which left 2 against Russell and 3 against Tyson. Boom- Tyson goes home for stupidity.
I was happy to see both people I'm rooting for (Candace & Rob) get individual immunity. Also not sad to see James go- it was an interesting choice to keep Colby. My husband was shocked but I saw it coming, with JT's pre-tribal comment about keeping the best team possible regardless of alliances or personal relationships. Too bad we couldn't have seen more around camp to hear more about why they stuck with Colby. Especially considering how all they said was "he wants to go home and he hasn't come through in any challenges". Seems like his perks were that he didn't eat all the bananas and his knee wasn't at risk for blowing out at any second.
Seriously Villains... send... Russell... home! Maybe they'll realize now how much of a schemer he is. Although I'm sure he'll have played his moves off as trying to help his alliance (Parvati), he's just a nice guy who wanted to help her out, etc. Will they fall for it? Time will tell.
It'll be interesting to see the Heroes without James. I honestly think that all of his antics were weighing heavily on them. Maybe they'll have finally whittled down to the dream team and will remember how to win?

Well, they tried.

That really was the best move I've ever seen from Russell. But . . .
He's put a huge target on his back now. He doesn't have the idol anymore (unless he finds it again) and he's pissed off Rob's alliance, especially Sandra and Coach. It was the right move in that it kept him from leaving last night (which I would have liked to see), but he's got his work cut out for him now.

And finally they got rid of James. I was really afraid there that they were going to pull stupid move again and send Colby packing.

I'm enjoying watching the Villains self destruct now I'm not going to worry too much about the previews. They rarely reflect what really happens.

Did I see right that Russell voted for Courtney? I know he himself was contemplating voting out Coach, but I wonder what the fall-out is going to be for the vote not going his way? Maybe there's more truth to the all-girl alliance than even the Villains know.

I know! Also, if Russell thinks about this, the reason for gunning for Coach was because Sandra told him that Coach was gunning for him. If that were really the case, wouldn't there have been a vote for Russell? Of course there would have been. So, Russell should realize now that Sandra played him on that too. I think the next episode is going to be good!

That was so satisfying watching them implode! I hope your right, because if the heroes actually give Russel the immunity idol to get him to "flip" they're idiots (like Tyson, who I'll never forgive ). I sure hope that Courtney and Sandra can convince the heroes that THEY are the outsiders, and not Russell (UGGGGHHH).

You saw that right. The vote was Sandra, Courtney, Parvati and Danielle for Coach, and Russell, Coach and Jerri for Courtney. It seemed really odd since Russell was adamant about voting for Coach and Danielle really wanted Courtney gone. Perhaps Russell overplayed his hand with Danielle and she (and Parvati) saw too much of the crazy arrogance?
And srmom is right about how it should be clear to Russell now that Coach wasn't gunning for Russell at all and Sandra played him. But if Russell was surprised, he didn't seem to let it show.
Next week will indeed be interesting.

We had to rewind and play the votes again just to be sure- but I was also shocked with the Courtney vote breakdown.
My thought? Coach is #1 on the jury, and Russell can say "hey, I didn't vote for you man". After all, your word & trust is EVERYTHING to Coach. Also, Russell can tell the Heroes that he voted for Courtney, which further strengthens his woe-is-me-all-girls-alliance ploy. The Heroes would surely believe that the only way Courtney would stay over Coach would be an all girls alliance.
Was it necessary? No. Russell can lie like any of them. But if he can do it without lying, I suppose that's one less lie to be caught on. Just theorizing though...

But did they know that Coach would be on the jury? Usually, it seems like the jury starts with the merge, so that the jury has a chance to know everyone at least a little, not just their own tribe. I was bit surprised when Probst added ". . . and the first member of our jury." But if you're on to something here, at least Russell has learned something since last season, when he never seemed to give the jury a thought.
As for the Heroes and the all-girl alliance theory, that's an interesting thought. You might be right, although I can't help but think that it doesn't seem to mesh with Russell's general hubris. We'll see, I guess.

I had the same thought. Glad it wasn't only me. Is it possible they might not do a merge unless one of the tribes gets to like 2 people?
