I've seen this done with cardboard. A bit different from the wrapping concept but it was hillarious. They created a phone, keyboard, mouse, monitor, CPU, even a chair out of cardboard. This was a cubicle, so they also created cardboard walls, windows, a door. It's great because you don't damage anything and there's no real harm done, other than time/annoyance.
ETA: This is why the internet is so great... a quick search and I found the actual pictures! This was at Microsoft...

They must have taken a LONG time on this cube. This is the first time I've actually seen something (although I didn't know the person, it was in my building at the time) that went viral. A few of the sites that have pictures say "Source Unknown"... but I know it! Woo hoo! I keep trying to find the original email but it's lost in a mound of .pst files from old projects.
