So may I present a different opinion? I feel the young ladies of Zeta Tau whatever did a fantastic job. I also feel as though they have the right to participate. As far as I know, it is listed as the Sprite Step Off. Not the Sprite NPHC Step Off.

Also, who's to say that the members of predominately white teams/organizations did not make the same argument about "us" when we broke into their respective groups (i.e. golf, basketball, country music, Indiana University

)? What this means to me, is that other groups have taken note to what we have done, and they are compelled to not only learn, but perfect the craft. "Imitation is the highest form of flattery".Guarantee next year's shows will be MUCH better from all organizations involved.

I have heard this silly analogy quite a bit and it takes me back to the old "whites in BGLOs" discussions. If people think it's all par for the course then they have no understanding of the course.

So "Zeta Tau Whatever" isn't disrespectful? Coming from an organization which was specifically called Kappa Alpha [racial slur], I'd assume as a man and presumably a gentleman, you'd do better than that.

The rest of your post is irrelevant because ZTA used pieces from "same ol' shows" in order to win, one of them from one of the other chapters that was in the same show.

First, "Imitation is NOT the sincerest form of flattery." I wish people would stop with that lie. I guess it makes folks feel better about being copied and used.

Second, this analogy is becoming overused and quite frankly isn't a good one. And last, they do not perfect what we do and if you know history, you know that they take, use, and then take credit for. Don't let me get into examples. I shouldn't have to.

I'm going to wish on a star tonight that everyone gets this message! Imitation is not flattery it is (excuse my french) F**kery and Foolishness. It could only be flattering if I placed no value on that which you have attempted to steal from me.
