So you say that you do change, but doubt that you become any wiser.
If you are changing, it is because your realized something, you learned something. As far as becoming wiser, yes, you do become wiser. If you "realized or learned something" which caused you to change, then you "became wiser." It may be subconsciously, but if you recognize that yes you do change, that itself is telling you that you are wiser because of your past relationships.
About still going for the bad boys: You must be attracted to them for some reason. I do not know what it is about those bad boys...
