I always hear of how bad relationships will teach you new things.

For me, that's not really true. I change, yes, but I doubt I become any wiser...

I STILL go for the bad boys...

Just something that I wonder about. :confused:

So you say that you do change, but doubt that you become any wiser.

If you are changing, it is because your realized something, you learned something. As far as becoming wiser, yes, you do become wiser. If you "realized or learned something" which caused you to change, then you "became wiser." It may be subconsciously, but if you recognize that yes you do change, that itself is telling you that you are wiser because of your past relationships. :)

About still going for the bad boys: You must be attracted to them for some reason. I do not know what it is about those bad boys...

If I think that something or someone might be bad for me, I try to avoid it or him entirely. If I discover that something or someone is bad after a while, I am out the door, and I don't look back. I think of it this way; it's easier to avoid a bad relationship than try to fix the damage that will be done from being in one.

Bad relationships...

They've taught me lots actually. I'd recommend everyone have just a few of those before a good relationship (otherwise, how do you know it's a good relationship?)

Newbie, I think we're a lot alike in many respects. Therefore, it could be since we're the "good girl" types that we live vicariously through the "bad boys"...just a thought...:rolleyes:

You can analyze it in so many ways.:)

Bad relationships do teach me new things. However, just because I've learned something and know what I should do, doesn't necessairily mean that's what I will do. In other words, right thinking doesn't necessairily mean right acting. Right acting takes us to another level. It implies will, courage, faith, fortitude, or some combination of these.
