People who use "reach out to" rather than "call", "email" or, more simply just "contacted".

As in "we reached out to you earlier to find out about the project status, but you did
not reach out to us in return to let us know." WTF?

I've heard clients use the phrase 5 times in 5 sentences, and it's really annoying.

That sounds really funny in that context! I think I've heard it that way before and also went . You usually reach out to a friend in need.

I go back and forth on the word "crush" or anything with the hard sh sound. It depends on how much air is put on it. For example: the word shush for when quieting someone can sound very comforting like when a mom comforts a baby or very nerve wracking like when people are talking in a theatre and someone goes "shush" Yeah, you're glad they said it, but still, you wish you hadn't heard it. Or at least I am.

I've seen this in your siggy. Can't say that I have ever heard someone say that. What is the context? "To conversate?" I just can't fathom how someone would use such a stupid non-word.

Yes.

"I'd like to conversate with you more about that idea."

This is taken from an email sent to me by a professor.

There are some weird signatures people use in e-mails that bug me. Like instead of sincerely, they'll say "cheers" or "best." Haha I think it just sounds British to me, but they aren't remotely British.

Oh, I hate "cheers" and "best"...and some people have it set as a standard signature, so even when they just sent you three pages of bad news it still says "cheers" at the end.

"Best"...best WHAT? Is that a lazy way of saying "all my best to you"? Lame.

LOL!

I usually end emails with "Best Regards" but I do shorten it to Best when it's someone I know or am I contact with frequently.
