What's stopping senior members/local alumni from answering questions like these?

Seriously!
Real question for NPCs, since this keeps getting asked: i know your orgs tend to be chapter-centric, but are yall THAT chapter-centric that youre unaware of how things work for other chapters, even as upperclass(wo)men?
I would think, for example, if i was in an NPC at my alma mater (for example), that someone in my chapter (ideally, president or pledge educator) would know each local chapter's stance is on transfers.
Not exactly written down like SOPs, but more like, oh the Alpha Beta chapter at State University is pretty open about transfers, but the Alpha Gamma chapter at City Tech College, they only take 5 a year during the fall semester.
This would make sense regionally, through a regional or national officer even.
I know im super lane-swerving, even in my school because my college has a high percentage of transfers. From what i've learned on Gc it seems like its par for the course in some university systems to transfer in after sophomore/junior year (i'm thinking the UT system, or Penn State, schools that have multiple campuses).
Again, lane-swerving, but does it hurt to work together a little? maybe some of this happens already and im not privy.
