Like I told my buddies last night . . . the reason I don't go to church is because most of the Beatles are dead, yet the Who was available for that abomination at halftime.

Their voices weren't the best but I hope they can blame that on an inability to hear themselves or something.

They weren't Taylor Swift at the Grammys horrible--and they are The Who, so.....

My guy didn't know who they were and didn't like the show AT ALL. LOL. They weren't helping my case with every off key note.

Well, half of the Who are dead too, for that matter. Supposedly the reason they did 562 "farewell" tours was to help John Entwhistle out with his $$$ problems...too bad that reason vanished 8 years ago.

I think they've done a lot of damage to their legacy and it's a shame. At least when the Beatles do something sketchy they do it as individuals.

You beat me to it. Only two of the Beatles have died out of four (three of six if you include both Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best).

Heard the same thing about the reunion tours and Entwhistle's money problems. Apparently he had exquisite champagne and priceless caviar tastes on a fine wine and canapes budget. Oh, how I miss him!

I mean . . . I realize Ringo Starr is still alive, but it's pretty clear that the Beatles do not exist in any form that could actually perform, while the Who (obviously) does.

It's more of a measurement of the creative side of things. Remember who played session drummer for the majority of the Beatles' most recognized recordings...

I got it. However, after hearing The Who's last studio release I may argue the use of "creative"

Fifty years from now, more people are going to recognize the Beatles than the Who.

Just sayin'.
