She has already done all that she can by letting her Rho Chi know. No one, not even her Rho Chi, can tell her what the consequences are b/c honestly no one knows. Maybe your daughter can let the sororities subtly know that she is going to miss most of that day? (like if her theater group activity comes up she could say "Yeah I love it..I actually have so and so/blah blah tomorrow so I will have to miss part of Pref Round and I'm so sad about it.") Just an idea. But anyways, I would let her take care of it on her own.
