Patton was incredibly inaccurate, though a good one. The thing that stands out the most is Patton himself, who was very soft spoken in real life.

It was so lame when it came out that he was Elvis Jr. Now, I really don't mind because they have given him some pretty decent storylines, but I mean come on, he's older than Will, who was born in like 96. At least Will is around the correct age.

WHAT?!?!?!?! IS THAT WHAT 'EJ' STANDS FOR????? I had no idea that was supposed to be the baby from the Susan/Kristen debacle, I remember that!!!! Ooooh my mom is not gonna believe this...we used to watch the show together.

LOL. EJ came onto the scene as like a race car driver or something. Kate had an affair with him (who doesn't she sleep with). Stefano came to town or Tony did and it came out that EJ was really Elvis Junior.

Black Hawk Down- While I enjoyed the movie, what truly bugged me was Josh Hartnett's character of Eversman. In the "real" situation Eversman made it out on the humvee's, but they wanted Josh to be "in" the movie and not leave the scene so they decided to change that "little fact". After I read the book, I found it annoying because I was like you are changing history, what those men did and what they died for....

Yeah, I remember that whole thing...I even remember John calling him "Elvis" but I never put the two together. Good lord, that's ridiculous.

OK, I'm dating myself here, but do any GC-ers of a certain age remember when DOOL's Hope transformed, like, overnight from 10 years old to then-20-something Kristian Alfonso?

In Wayne's World, Wayne, Garth and friends drive from the house in one part of Aurora to a club in another part of Aurora. On the way, they pass the Spindle. This must be the least direct route to get from one part of Aurora to another part - considering the Spindle was in Berwyn - around 33 miles away from downtown Aurora.
Oh yes, they do this in the amount of time it takes to play "Bohemian Rhapsody." Not possible even under the best of circumstances.

That was part of my critique for my Spike Lee film class. I don't understand why Spike did it as his family was huge in his conversion to Islam, and his aunt paid for his Hajj (pilgrimage) and his mentor was completely made up. With the amount of problems that family had I felt it took away from the strength of a broken family reuniting under a new religion.

Are you talking about right before the Larry Welsh-being-left-at-the-altar-days? My mom used to watch it religiously and I was home sick a lot, so I remember Bo stealing her from her wedding.
I remember Sammy and her twin aging really fast, but Carrie was one of the few who aged appropriately from her pre-teen years onward.
The same for the Quartermaine kids (GH) in the early 90s, they were tots and suddenly teenagers.
I have not watched either since probably 97 (DOOL was on in the lunchroom at work), so I can only speak from what I remember.

It makes me wonder why soaps even have their female characters become pregnant, because the kid will have SORAS probably within 5 years. But man those women "look good" when their kid comes back a teenager, when they theoritically only gave birth 5 years prior. LOL.
GI Jane- while I totally LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the concept of a woman competing against the men for a spot on the Seals. No way it would happen in the real world would (even though I believe that if a women is good enough to hold up against a man, more power to her and let her try).

I hate when a woman gives birth, 20 seconds later, she's sitting up, her hair is all done up, her make up is on, and everyone's just as happy as can be.
Yeah, right.

Or how about they make the birth look soooo easy. Like in Father of the Bride 2, Kimberly Williams (as Annie) isn't even breaking a sweat.

Just a few of my peeves but off the top of my head:
- High school prom scenes (no one's prom looked like THAT!)
- The fact that no one ever kills the bad guy who is killing everyone else, even when they very clearly have the chance to (dislike most action movies for this reason)
and while not "inaccurate", I hate when they have a car scene and the people aren't wearing their seatbelts.
