Something my chapter did was that we had the girls decorate bags full of arts and craft supplies. The bags could be decorated however they wanted, and they also included a little note. Those bags were given to the local women's shelter to hand out to the children. That way, we could honor both our fine arts heritage and our support of victims of domestic violence.
BTW: Welcome to GC, and congratulations on your Presidency! I'm just ending my term as VP Intellectual Development and starting my term as VP CRS.
