Oh no. They should all be wanting to take Shambo to the end.
And the fact that she's a wild card was why they couldn't tell her Dave wasn't going -- too much risk she'd be so upset about it she'd sabotage the blindside.

I hate when they start with 20 people. It's too many. Because I barely know Brett's name and there are still 9 people on this damn tribe. Stop it, show.

We saw more of him in the recap show than any other time I think (except maybe that task where he was made the leader b/c Shambo sat herself out). What little they've shown of him gives me the impression he's smart and actually thinking about how to play the game, and I'm still impressed over how he dressed the rat that Natalie killed. But he's gotten a small enough share of screen time that I'm guessing he's not going to make it to the end.

It'll be interesting to see Shambo next episode. She was just as blindsided as John was! I can see why Russell (and particularly Dave) wanted John gone, but I thought Jaison was right on the money with regard to his assessment of what that would do to the numbers - taking John out before Dave will likely send Shambo straight to the other side (again).
I've got to hand it to the producers/directors/editors of Survivor this season. They've really done a nice job setting the stage (so to speak). I honestly don't remember a season I've enjoyed any more.

Definitely. And they seem to leave out a good amount of the discussion amongst the castaways so that you don't really know what's going to happen when they go to tribal council. It makes me really nervous, but it's good television.

She won't go back to "the other side", because look who is there: Dave & Monica - who she can't stand, and Brett - who we have no idea about, since he's never really been on much. Plus, that's still a 4-4 tie.
If Jaison or Mick makes a big move next week and gets rid of Russell, that would probably win it for them - however, it would have to be a BIG blindside, because he's still got an idol, and they'd have to do it without Shambo, because I don't think she would keep her mouth shut, even if Russell didn't do what she wanted last week. Natalie is also too loyal to Russell, so it would have to be Mick, Jaison, Dave, Brett & Monica.
I also have to say that I think Jaison made the right move at the immunity challenge, moving up earlier, and therefore supporting less weight throughout the duration of the challenge, rather than waiting until he was almost spent to use it. I was extremely impressed with Natalie hanging in until almost the end.

Thanks for the shout-out. You are right! Jeff Probst has also made an appearance at past Delta Gamma Conventions.

This scenario might be devastating for Mick and Jaison (at least for this upcoming week). If they get rid of Russell, and alienate Natalie (and possibly Shambo), it will put them way behind in the numbers game.
Even if they team up with Dave, Monica and Brett to eliiminate Natalie and Shambo the following two weeks, it will still be 2 Foa Foas to 3 Galus.
I think they need Russell in order to eliminate one more member of Galu, and then they can start to think about getting rid of him.
I do wonder if they know about Natalie's loyalty to Russell, though. I've been very impressed with her in the last few weeks. Between the rat and this immunity challenge, she is proving to be a much stronger player than I originally thought she'd be.

The finale is on Sunday - I was wondering how they were going to get the numbers down that fast.

I wonder if they'd want to get rid of him. It appears there are going to the three in the final. If you want to be in the final three, you want one of the people there with you to be Shambo. I'm not so sure but what Russell might not be the other one to take.
Yeah, there'd be some risk involved there. As more and more former castaways arrive at the Ponderosa, compare notes and see how Russell played all of them, one of two things will happen: either they'll admire it or they'll hold it against him big time. It's hard to tell at this point whether they have any idea about things like emptying canteens, but if they do, that won't help him.
To be honest, I can't tell whether anyone is really thinking about how they'll be seen by the jury.
It'll be interesting.

I wish the host would refrain from addressing Dave as "Dave Ball" all the time. It's very strange that Jeff Probst would do that. Oh well.

I know- I was trying to figure out how it would play out with the holidays, since all networks like to have a dead zone for a few weeks. With the number of people left, I figured it would stretch out into January. I did not expect it to end so soon! Perhaps another F3?
I wonder when Survivor 20: Heroes vs. Villains will premier?

Maybe I dreamed it, but I could have sworn I read somewhere that it would be a Final 3.

I'm extremely forgetful, so I don't know how they've done it in the past... but they're going to get rid of 5 people, AND have the final tribal council with feedback from the jury, AND do the entire finale thing where they show the final vote AND talk to the entire cast... in two episodes?
Something seems off.
I would think they'd need at least one more week.
