Sorority members can tell when someone is being ridiculously fake nice with the goal of getting a COR/Informal recruitment invite. Just interact naturally.

Also, don't be rude. Ever. If you're super busy, and a sorority member stops over to say hi, say hi, apologize for being swamped, and tell her you hope to catch up with her later.

Don't just ignore them or say "OMG I'M SO STRESSED OUTBLKAJEGOIJWGOIWEG" and lay your entire day on her.

That happened to me once, too. Wow... maybe my campus was weird or something.

ETA: I'm not saying you do this. Or the creepy stalker thing. My point is that sometimes completely normal people can come off as creepy stalkerish. If you break your arm trying to wave to me while I'm on campus, I'm going to think you're strange.
