APO is not on any of the Greek councils at IU. We are classified as a Volunteer & Service Organization and are listed with those groups on the IU Student Organization listing, not with the fraternities and sororities.

I've heard of schools with "Service Councils", but I'm unclear how they affect what the chapter can do on campus.

APhiO at Bowling Green State University belongs to the Independent Greek Council.

The IGC is made up of Alpha Phi Omega, Omega Phi Alpha, Sigma Lambda Beta (a multicultural social fraternity), Sigma Lambda Gamma (a multicultural social sorority), Delta Xi Phi (a multicultural social sorority), Delta Lambda Phi (a social fraternity for gay, bisexual, and progressive men), and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
