APhiO at Bowling Green State University belongs to the Independent Greek Council.

The IGC is made up of Alpha Phi Omega, Omega Phi Alpha, Sigma Lambda Beta (a multicultural social fraternity), Sigma Lambda Gamma (a multicultural social sorority), Delta Xi Phi (a multicultural social sorority), Delta Lambda Phi (a social fraternity for gay, bisexual, and progressive men), and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
