Oedipus Rex reversed? Seriously though, this is disgusting. Clearly, this kid was better off without her in his life. Why'd she have to track him down?

'According to Daniel Jones, founder of the International Church of Jediism, staff at a Tesco department store in Bangor, North Wales, ejected him over security fears when he refused to remove his hood.
"I told them it was a requirement of my religion, but they just sniggered and ordered me to leave," said Jones, also known by his Jedi name Morda Hehol. "I walked past a Muslim lady in a veil. Surely the same rules should apply to everyone."
The handbook of the U.K. Jedi Church, which was founded last year by Jones—excuse us, Morda Hehol—states that "Jedis must wear a hood up in any public place of a large audience." The religion is practiced by 500,000 around the world.
"It was discrimination," said Jones. "I was really upset. Nobody should be treated like that."
A Tesco spokesman had this response:
"Jedi are very welcome to shop in our stores although we would ask them to remove their hoods. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker all went hoodless without going to the Dark Side. If Jedi walk around our stores with their hoods on, they'll miss lots of special offers."

Porckchops, serious business
Mom Attacks Son Over Porkchop
http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local...-60708367.html
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A mom upset because her teenage sons ate the last pork chop in the house was arrested and accused of punching one of the youths and chasing them with a knife, Sacramento police said.
Chavonna Gough, 36, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and endangering the life of a child, jail records show.
A police report said the attack happened at a home near the intersection of Casa Linda Drive and Del Luna Court.
The report said Gough got angry with her 16- and 19-year-old sons.
Gough allegedly hit one of her sons in the head and then punched him in the face, police said.
Police said Gough then apparently chased her children from the home with a knife.
The 16-year-old boy was placed into protective custody, police said.
Gough remained in jail Wednesday. Bail was set at $60,000.

Fanged frog, 162 other new species found in Mekong
BANGKOK – A gecko with leopard-like spots on its body and a fanged frog that eats birds are among 163 new species discovered last year in the Mekong River region of Southeast Asia, an environmental group said Friday.
WWF International said that scientists in 2008 discovered 100 plants, 28 fish, 18 reptiles, 14 amphibians, two mammals and one bird species in the region. That works out to be about three species a week and is in addition to the 1,000 new species catalogued there from 1997 to 2007, the group said.
Full Story
There is a picture of the Gecko looking like it just stole someone's soul. GEICO should have used this one instead.

This made me laugh.

Man Charged After Making Coffee Naked
The guy was alone in his home, and went into the kitchen in his birthday suit at 5:30am to make some coffee. A woman who was walking by the house with a 7-year-old boy saw him and made an indecent-exposure complaint. He was arrested, and could be fined and thrown in jail for a year.
Um... What was a 7-year-old doing awake and outside at 5:30 in the morning?

Um since when was it illegal to walk around your own house naked? That is basically what they are saying by charging this guy. Hope he finds a great lawyer, who gets this stupid charge thrown out
