Not a bra, that's for sure.
I don't like Taylor Swift because I don't like the message in some of her songs. Okay well the one song I was forced to listen to about Romeo and Juliet, and I think there should be better messages than sneaking around with some dude and then marrying him, and the white dress comment. Why can't young women be successful and do something other than waiting for some dude their dad doesn't like to ask for their hand in marriage? We should be involved in the decision to get married and not wait for some dude and be a "princess" and Taylor Swift should also take a literature class because Shakespeare's play did NOT have a happy ending.
I also dislike Lady Gaga because some of her songs about losing her personal items because she can't control her liquor consumption, and she also needs to wear pants more often. Disco stick. srsly?
In other words, get off my lawn whipperschnappers!

Kanye did it because he knew everyone would be talking about it today. He didn't care about the ramifications for himself or how it would make Taylor feel. He just wanted the publicity. This is why he's a raging d-bag.

Do we expect anything better from someone who brought back venetian blind sunglasses? I can respect someone who has the Dwayne Wayne flip ups, but not sunglasses that mirror accessories on the A-Team van.

Well, in all fairness, she wrote that song when she was probably 17 or 18 years old. Actually, she's admitted to using We The Kings' song "Check Yes Juliet" as inspiration for it. I also think it's very similar in theme to "She's in Love with the Boy" by Tricia Yearwood. I still love that song.

But in She's in Love with the Boy the mom was supportive of the relationship as the "boy" reminded her of her husband/the father as he was also a hayseed plow boy. There was no mention of an approving mother in Taylor's song, just daddy and a white dress. Often a father will dislike a boy because he is protective of his daughter and a mother will straighten him out; Taylor was pulling a Disney with a single father with a willful daughter who wasn't really willful because she was just waiting for a guy to get on one knee, propose, and to get a white dress.
To be serious though, I am just at the lyrics of so many songs when it comes to grammar and content. I know it makes me an old lady sitting on my porch in my rocking chair with a shot gun, but the horrible music I enjoy, I know is horrible. I mean who takes the Wu-Tang Clan seriously?

Well really if you listen to the lyrics, Taylor's dad DOES approve of her gettin' that white dress, apparently ("And said, marry me Juliet, You'll never have to be alone, I love you and that's all I really know, I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress, It's a love story baby just say yes"). See, it's all better now.
