If you get out the bid list for Alabama this year and count NMs, Old Row groups will be obvious.....

Why? I'm just curious and completely unfamiliar with Alabama rush...do the "Old Row" groups get more quota additions because they have more legacies? I don't know what you are alluding to but I LOVE learning more about how SEC recruitment works.

While I could write a dissertation on this, I truly do not have the time nor inclination for it! It can be a little difficult to believe if you a) didn't grow up here with it or b) haven't lived here aa while and learned it. So, a little project for you if you really want to know:

1) Read all threads on Alabama recruitment (esp this year's)
2) Read all the threads on Old Row at Alabama
3) Read the Wikipedia article on "the machine", a secret Greek political organization at Alabama
4) PM me if you still don't "get it...."
