You could look into singing yourself or platoon up for programs such as:

www.adoptaussoldier.org

www.soldiersangels.org

www.adoptasoldierplatoon.org/

www.adoptaplatoon.org

Also have you looked into contacting your FRG back home and letting them know that some extra support would be helpful for overall troop morale?
