Awesome! I now can check the results of my RIF girls off from the Alabama group and move on to facebook, well, I hate to use the word "stalking" but call it what you will, UGA.
(Yeah, I really do want to know, and I want to know right away.)

don't know that piece - just saw a discussion on fb between several VST members who were excited about several legacies. One of them makes the 8th Alpha Gam in the family, which I think is just plain cool.

Zillini, I didn't mean to place blame on UA PanHellenic. If it wasn't for Greekchat, I would have no idea of the competitiveness of UA recruitment and the preparation some girls have prior to recruitment.
And I too was wondering why the girls with pref options dropped. I am under the impression that all the GLOs at UA are good options. I only had 2 prefs when I pledged as did most of my friends. We thought it was great to have 2 options!
I write recs every year for girls attending another SEC school, and the atmosphere there seems much different. We don't have the teas and spring events, and the chapter emails me a list of girls from my county that need recs. So we have a system in place to at least attempt to get recs on in-state girls. Our SEC school clearly states that a 3.00 high school gpa is needed to pledge all but one GLO. I'm not sure if it is clearly enforced by each chapter though.
Of course we only have 850-900 girls go through recruitment, compared to 1500 at UA.
