Off topic, but... I always found it interesting that Delta Chi has designated letters for their officer positions. Is there a specific reason for this (if you're able to share that information)?

Other organizations do this, or something like it. Lambda Chi uses Greek letters for its officers (High Alpha, High Beta, etc.) KA Order uses numbers (presidents are "Number 1s"). I'm pretty sure there are others as well.

I think the most diplomatic way to answer would be to say that you wouldn't call someone Harry if his name was Joe.

Interestingly enough, our officer names were public in the very early days and were even printed in very early editions of "The Quarterly." I don't believe they've been public since 1897 or so (that year sticks out in my mind), and were definitly made secret before 1908, which is the earliest "Quarterly" I've read - and I dare you to find one earlier than that!

*Please note: the above information is not esoteric and can be found on the public website of The Delta Chi Fraternity.
