Agreeing with dipset, I to have a story with kind of the same outcome.
I went to my college in 2004. In 2004, I already knew what I wanted to affiliate myself with. So, Fall 05, They had their interest meeting. I went and so did others about 5 of us. I was a soph music major with 26 credits. I didnt know you had to have 30. Being a music major, SHORTS your credits. Normal classes gives you 3, music gives you 1 maybe 2. So they told me to come back next semester where I changed majors. That same semester, They got suspended. The other guys who were at the interest meeting with me, became members and crossed at another campus; PROBATE and all. So for about 4 semesters, Omega Psi Phi wasn't on our campus. Spring 07 came and they started coming back, saying and posting interest meetings. We had a spring interest meeting in February. About 30-40 people showed up.....SERIOUSLY. Out of the 30-40 people, they cut it down to 12 of us. So we waited and waited and that semester came to an end. So now its Fall 07. I graduate Spring 08. So as Fall 07 is closing to an end, I personally dont want the current and older members to think that I just want to join JUST TO GET MY LETTERS AND LEAVE. I was going back home far away from my college. So I went to the grad chapter interest meeting. Their, they did meet and greets for all the interested members. When it came to me, I told them I was still in college, graduating next semester. The Vice-Basileus came and took me to my chapters off-campus advisor, who was present at the interest meeting. I then asked him about the chapter on my campus, which he would know everything about; being he's off-campus advisor. He tells me to my face "that chapter, WILL NOT have a intake process this semester or next semester (Spring 08)" So April of Spring 08, FUNNY THING HAPPENED. They crossed 3 new members into that chapter on that campus without, putting up a single interest meeting paper, after the off-campus advisor told me there will be NO INTAKE PROCESS. The on-campus advisor, didn't even know what was going on. I graduated and as soon as I got home from college, I went and started looking for grad chapters. I read the Omega Psi Phi website and it said, "graduates of active chapters must wait 4 yrs" So my question, after everyone has read my story; Since they only crossed 1 line in 4yrs and have not been active in about 2 yrs until the semester I graduated, where does that leave me??? Thank you gentlemen for your time and concern.

I applaud your diligence. Omega rewards perseverance. If you've graduated, contact local grad chapter members and pursue your dreams. Your scenario mirrors my undergraduate situation. I had no idea that my school had two lines before I even knew that their were members on campus. i thought the chapter was suspended. Luckily for me the lines in the spring and summer both dropped and i was able to get down in the fall when they formally advertised a interest meeting.

WOW,
your situation is similar to mine.
I am trying to hang in there, but I am still unsure of what to do. I have had conversations with some grad members and still i am not getting a clear answer either way..
