lol I had no clue there was so much controversy over the world "frat"... I just think each Fraternity should continue teaching its members to call their organization whatever they see fit.

It's the same way at my school. The Greeks typically always have a higher GPA than the school average. This year my sorority was awarded highest GPA. I hate when I tell people that and they think I'm either lying or we didn't work hard for our good grades. The majority of us are working to earn PhDs and MDs, so it's sad that people don't take that seriously just because we're a sorority.
