This is dumb. If 5 minutes makes that big of a difference then the curriculum sucks.
The administration needs to attend summer school. Not the kids.

Well, will they really have to attend?
The district will have to hold the classes maybe, but what would happen if the kids just didn't go?
They wouldn't have a class count day scheduled like during the regular year, right?

Oh man, this sounds like something that would happen in Florida.
I guess California is headed that way pretty quickly as well...so much for the move to SF.
