My hubby and I, who have both been teaching for years, had such a hard time naming our kids because there were so many names that reminded us of particular students. Every time one of us would suggest something, the other would object almost immediately!
When I was pregnant with our fist, we had decided on Allison or Grant (we didn't know the sex). Of course, after deciding on those names, we had to change them because of our summer school rosters: As luck would have it, hubby had a Grant in his class, and I had an Allison in mine. Both students were slackers and wrecked all our planning!
