Swerving a bit, but I am aware of a few NALFO sororities (and fraternities, for that matter) that do allow members to affiliate with nearby chapters.
I guess it really depends on the organization/council/conference.

So I take it you're already an initiated member? Your previous posts indicated that you were preparing to rush.
If you're a member, why not ask your chapter's leadership? They'll be able to provide you with some assistance and direction.

I'm kind of getting that "I didn't get into my top choice so I'm going to transfer and find a better chapter of my sorority or maybe I'll just go through Recruitment again" feeling.

My house wasn't my top choice, but it's still good here. I wouldn't be able to do recruitment again if i already joined so no. The school will be going to doesn't have my chapter, so a nearby school(which is an Ivy League, so forget it) does. I also have friends who pledged chapters at different schools. I'm moving for another reason, not for greek life
And yes, I'm talking Panhellenic, the one with 26 chapters.

Am I not allowed to have two accounts? i lost the password to my old one but recently found it... I posted another thread about transferring and rushing like I was a total newb so I wouldn't get any crap from older posters from before. Stupid me didn't realize I was logged in. (yikes lol)
A friend just told me the other day that you can't re-rush at a new school if you've already been initiated(those schools I asked about don't have my house) , so now I'm asking this new question about staying in my house but joining at another school since the school I just got into doesn't have my house . ...
