Some of the schools make occulars (they are held over one eye when the other eye is being tested) with tongue depressors and fun shapes. It is nice and easy.
Hi! I'm from the Omicron chapter at Adelphi. In the past my chapter has made oculars for children, braille cards and we also decorated dog bowls for seeing eye dogs. They're all fun activities and the PNM's seemed to enjoy them. Hope this helps.
You can make them to give to elementary children to aide in their early reading years. Every child loves a great bookmark and it is related to sight. (at least I think so)
