There are chapters at my school who have Facebook groups to promote informal/COB, but they are usually titled something like "XYZ Informal Recruitment" or "Come Meet the XYZs."

I think groups titled "I want to join XYZ" are a little odd, just because a PNM could potentially think that being part of the Facebook group and attending the events = I'm going to be invited to join that sorority.

And again, we have had these groups before, but like you said, they've been titled something different like "Come meet the ABCs" ... having it specfically say "join" gives off the wrong impression, IMO.
