Katherine Heigl (Izzie) and T.R. Knight (George) have officially quit Grey's.

Not so sure that the show's going to stay around too much longer.

I'm so disappointed. This is my favorite show, and George was one of my favorite characters! How sad

I'm curious to see how this plays out. I could see the show still sticking around though. TR Knight hasn't had very much screen time this season and his character has become secondary. I think the majority of viewers are annoyed with the whole Denny thing and find Izzie to be kinda boring anyway. I think the characters who make the show are Meredith, Christina, McDreamy and Dr. Bailey. If one of them left, then I'd say for certain that the show wouldn't go on.

YAY YAY YAY! Izzy was getting so obnoxious and I never cared for George much anyways But I agree that the show probably won't be around that much longer, although House went through a similar slump and it came back around so hopefully Grey's can too.

I think Grey's will survive that. I like some of the new characters on board. ER certainly survived many major characters leaving. I think Izzy's "Denny" storyline was awful and George has been almost non-existant this season anyway.

Agreed! Izzy used to be one of my favorite characters, but now she is boring...

Poor Alex Karev. He's gonna be scarred FOREVER now. Just no luck with women.

That is the only bad thing about it b/c I do like Alex and Izzie together. But maybe Shonda will put more of Alex and his dark & twistyness out there. I think Karev is a highly fascinating character. The surface has barely been scratched on him.

I agree. We don't have enough info on his backstory. They can bring on someone new for him. I'd prefer that anyway.

What I have always hated is that with Alex they will dangle the carrot and then just snatch it away. When Ava/Rebecca was loosing it he was talking about how his mom got sick like that and now that he's a man he can take care of Ava/Rebecca. And then they never delve into it. They've gone that with his character multiple times!!! I want them to just give him a really meaty story line that brings all the skeletons out of his closet!!!!
