Look....I hope he doesn't make some of the same mistakes Bush did either. I think Bush's presidency will be looked upon different in the long run, but that's neither here nor there. Hey, I was speaking in poor taste. Shoot me. I don't think it was racist, but oh well. I know in my mind why the name was made up but that doesn't really matter if it truly offends people. Obviously it does.

If he can turn some of his ideas into realities I will be more than happy..specifically ones that relate to my line of work.

Give Obama time, you and I can either be happy or miserable with the results in 4 years but for people to condemn him before he sets foot in the door is wrong, people expecting him to walk on water and raise the dead is ALSO EQUALLY as wrong.

Me personally, will have a hard time reconciling with Bush's admin but that's just my (....plus 2 million on The Mall ) opinion

You know what happened....possibly...everyone they introduced, they addressed by middle initial and if I remember correctly (I couldn't hear over all the screaming) they said Biden's entire name also.

Addressing someone and being sworn in are two different things. DrPhil posted the links to prove that he did say his middle name. But, had he not, I would have raised eyebrows. Not because I think he's a Muslim Terrorist, but because every other president sworn in has said their whole name.

But, tis not the issue because I was wrong.
