edit: I hope everyone realizes when you have your sorority/fraternity name/nickname in your username, signature or post, your nationals most likely instantly gets an e-mail thanks to the awesomeness of Google.

I do not know if ALL sorority hqs monitor activity here, but I know SOME do, and as always it's better to be safe than sorry.

I can say that almost all of the Alpha Gam alumnae who post here are currently, or have been, advisors to collegiate chapters, members of our Volunteer Services Team (regional oversight, international committee members, etc) or current/past International Council (our governing body) members. Of our IC members, they were regulars on GC prior to being elected. We are open about who we are, at least with our sisters and most of us know each other IRL, or will, eventually We aren't exactly lurking in the shadows.

AST drinking chant
In 1899
in Ypsilanti Mish,
8 girls sat together
and made themselves a wish
They formed the bond
of friendship of love and loyalty, chose
the colors green and gold
and called them AST.
Drink em down Alpha Tau
Dink em down Ye Haw
To the hell with all the rest
Cause we know we are the best
Drink em down Alpha Tau
Drink em down, down down down.

Very ture. A good friend of mine served as some sort of a regional volunteer for her NPC sorority. She said that not only does her HQ monitor Greek Chat and other similar sites, they also have volunteer staff members who monitor the web sites of the chapters in their region. As I understand it, this includes Facebook and MySpace.
