I'm not at IU but my chapter's house board recently proposed not giving girls a point if they study abroad. That could possibly hurt the chances of a girl living out their senior year. Although, I'm not sure if other chapters or GLOs have a similar policy or not.

The thing that's different though is at IU they don't have a regular quota, they are only allowed to take as many girls as they have empty spaces in the physical house. So living in/out is a big deal.
