I kept thinking that Gretchen would have been Greek at Baylor, but I just found an article on her while she was a freshman. Her maiden name is Forward.

Gretchen Forward, co-chair of the organization's float committee and a Montrose, Calif., freshman, said FCC members were excited and a little worried at first.
'We are really pumped about putting it together,' Forward said. 'But there is a lot of pressure on us, since the float hasn't been done in a while.'
Freeman said FCC is proud to be one of the few non-Greek organizations to have a float in the parade.
