As I sit here in my office looking out my window to the Oakland Hills, Piedmont, and Berkeley Hills, I laughed when I read this and couldn't agree with you more (with the exception of my sorors who graduated from there)

hahah! When I went to visit my sisters last November, we talked about Kara & Berkeley. One of my sisters (who grew up in the Castro Valley area) said "If it is hard for me as a Republican in this area, I feel bad for Kara up there at Berkeley." lol.
