Well, I could be crazy but... from my experience, if a guy actually wants a meaningful relationship, he ASKS A GIRL OUT. He doesn't simply talk to her about sex, and mess around with her a bit (which is what I'm getting from her story), eventually leading her to say, "Yea, it'll probably happen soon," ... and then still not ask her out.
That doesn't seem the least bit sketchy to you?

Exactly. But she posted it on the internet. Why I'm not allowed to present to her my opinion, based on the facts I've been given, is beyond me.

You're allowed to do anything you want. Whether your opinion is justifiable based upon the 'facts,' is debatable.

You’re suggesting that the "facts" she stated aren’t true. If that’s the case, that’s her problem. I’m only giving my opinion based on what she’s told us, and I don’t think my analysis of the presented situation is completely outlandish and laughable, as you seemed to imply.

I debated whether it was getting ridiculous just responding to this crap.. but what the hell. It's GC.
I suggested that the facts could be wrong, but that they absolutely were incomplete -- that you internet relationship experts are reaching completely indefensible positions based on no facts.
For example, she says that she's known this guy since the seventh grade or whatever. From that, you are able to somehow reach the conclusion you did. That's just amazing.
I can understand the personal advice that some are giving, i.e., that virginity is somehow between you and your God and whatnot, or that the decision to give up one's virginity is important. That's fine. Otherwise, you're just being absurd.
