The Watcher in the Woods (Scary Disney Movie from 1980)

I have a copy back at my parent's house that we recorded from TV. My sister and I used to love/be terrified of that movie! I always remember the person being trapped in the water and I think some woman poking her with a stick.. and the girl being blindfolded during the eclipse.

Funny, both my sister and I were born after 1980 and we still watched that movie.

I think Lynn Holly Johnson was actually snagged onto something in the water and Bette Davis had to push her down with the stick to free her. But, initially, it totally looked like she was evil and trying to drown her.

I have never heard of this movie.....Maybe its not for those of us born after '85?

Oh I was born in 85 and loved it!
