Calling all children of the 70s...it's hard to believe that Disney actually made a scary movie, but it's true. Do you guys remember seeing this movie? I remember being 10 years old and wanting to see it SO BADLY!

I think it was about a girl named Karen (the daughter of Bette Davis) gets sucked up into some random vortex and by getting stuck there, she disappears for 30 years. She and 3 of her friends did a seance of something like that during an eclipse & the mishap occurred. OOH! SO SCARY! LOL

It starred Bette Davis, who was always awesome and then the world's worst actress, Lynn-Holly Johnson.

I have a copy back at my parent's house that we recorded from TV. My sister and I used to love/be terrified of that movie! I always remember the person being trapped in the water and I think some woman poking her with a stick.. and the girl being blindfolded during the eclipse.

Funny, both my sister and I were born after 1980 and we still watched that movie.

This was a creepy movie.

Nobody does crazy creepy like Bette Davis.

I think Lynn Holly Johnson was actually snagged onto something in the water and Bette Davis had to push her down with the stick to free her. But, initially, it totally looked like she was evil and trying to drown her.

I have never heard of this movie.....Maybe its not for those of us born after '85? :rolleyes:

Oh I was born in 85 and loved it!
