No! We never went anywhere. Our chapter has been continuously active at East Carolina University since January 27, 1953. In fact we're the second oldest GLO on campus, behind Phi Sigma Pi Co-ed Honor Fraternity (Tau chapter), founded in 1929.
In 1982, we just
amended our chapter's charter (aka: "re-chartered") to conform to the co-ed decision made in 1976. And yes, it was agreed upon by the majority of the brotherhood back then. It also effectively ended our relationship with the Gamma Sigma Sigma (Delta Chi chapter) chapter as a "sister" chapter.
