I can't believe this is an actual news story. I feel badly for the young mother and the entire family, but I'm sticking with the call of negligence against the mother. I just can't imagine leaving a 2 month old unsupervised on the other side of the house.

My family watches my dog while my hubby and I are staying in a place that doesn't allow pets. Honestly, my family does not adore my dog the way I do, but the question I always hear when I'm over there is, "Did anyone feed the dog?" Someone is always asking that question because it's a shared chore and responsibility. How in the hell did anyone allow a dog (oops - puppy) to get so damn hungry that it eats a baby in a swing???

Although this article is old, I'm convinced that more details will be revealed in this sad, sad story.
