This is not an active chapter of DZ. Sounds like the group that was a chapter of DZ at St Johns in NY from about 20 years back who would not "cease and desist" when asked by DZ and just kept on using the name and recruiting as such. They eventually went away.

Seems like they could just go local and use other letters. I mean thats what my orginization did when our National went under (Phi Sigma Epsilon). We go by Phi Sigma Chi these days, and a lot of the other Phi Sig chapters did something a long the lines of what we did. Some of the local chapters who were formally PSE formed a national which is now the Phi Sigma Phi Orginization. Our local is considering going National with them in time.

You mean when Phi Sigma Epsilon merged with Phi Sigma Kappa in 1985?

Is thats what they call it? You mean when most of the Phi Sigma Epsilon chappters in the state of Wisconsin either went under or decided to go local rather then go Kappa. No hate to PSK, but we left because they just weren't us. I'm honestly all for going National, but if we do I hope it's Phi Sigma Phi. At least from what I've seen, they seem to fit the old PSEpsilon chapters a bit better.
