Honestly - could we stop this? Please? I feel like this has gotten to the point of ridiculousness. When people were upset about Bush being elected President, it was readily accepted. Just because you support Obama, please don't sit there and judge those who aren't quite so happy. Some of us supported the other candidate, and some of the Obama supporters were the same Kerry and Gore supporters telling us how they would leave the country if Bush was elected. It happens every election, and you should respect other people's views the same way some of us respected the views of Kerry and Gore voters.

Honestly, let's just have respect for the fact that there is a difference of opinion. Not everyone is thrilled about Obama being elected. It's ok - it shouldn't take away from your joy about your candidate being elected.

Obviously anyone who says anything like this is an idiot.

However, you still watch Alec Baldwin movies, so let's not pretend it's a Republican thing - it's an idiot thing.

And idiocy has affected people on both sides of the aisle. And anyone who thinks differently should have their head checked.

Republicans aren't the enemy. I hope some people on this site would realize that and understand that we're not bad people.

No one ever said that, man....

But you have some extremists on both sides ( agree to this I know) that just don't know how to act...and to be honest with you....some people this time around got seriously ugly...uglier than I have ever seen in my life...so that is why i feel the way that I do....if you are going to be a negative person, regardless on which side you are on....take it with you as you exit.

Neither side of the aisle needs that BS

Ksig...it's all cool.

Just got back from the McCain party at the Biltmore. We all couldn't believe that he conceded so soon.

Then again, most of us predicted it while waiting for the shuttles to get over the the Biltmore. We all hit the bar line right away and double fisted all night.

And there were some sore losers after the last election, who were threatening to leave the country, or who were stating that the country was going down the tubes.

Honestly, I'm glad you all got to see your candidate elected, but let's not forget that post-election bitterness happens on both sides of the aisle.

I just hate that some are making some Republicans out to be sore losers - there are sore losers in every election, and ignoring that fact is trying to make some revisionist history.

I'm interested to see how some people react when the Obama Presidency makes questionable decisions, as will undoubtedly happen during his presidency. Will you all admit the mistakes, or will you gloss over those issues?

No offense, but seeing your candidate take the Presidency tends to breed some hypocrisy, whatever side of the aisle you favor. It will be interesting to see the reactions during his Presidency.

Exactly - there are issues on both sides of the aisle. Just because your candidate is victorious doesn't cover up those issues. I'm saying this as a Republican who was displeased with the Bush presidency.

Agreed. I think things just need to cool off for awhile. This is still VERY new and people are upset. Remember that McCain/Palin supporters believed in and had feelings invested in their candidate just as Obama supporters did.

HAHAHAHA!

Shepard Smith rocks for telling Ralph Nader off for his stupid Uncle Tom comment about Obama.

For those who didn't watch, Nader said something about Obama has to choose if he'll become Uncle Sam or Uncle Tom.

No joke. Nader seriously shot himself in the foot for making that stupid Uncle Tom reference. I'll see if the video is up on youtube yet or perhaps even on fox news. What an ass. He even said he didn't regret making that comment.

A friend of mine debated Nader when he appeared in CT. He has run his course.

YES WE CAN!!!

I'm really excited for the upcoming inauguration. His speech was a lot better than I expected (and I already had pretty high expectations)
