Please excuse me for not going back and reading all the old posts but it's late at night and I have a question. I realize that I have missed some episodes this season b/c I keep forgetting the night.
Did I miss ZBZ's Initiation? I thought that Rebecca was still a NM so how could she 1) be at the Sisters' Meeting and 2) Nominate someone?
So if she's initiated, did I miss the guys' Initiation(s)?

Initiation (season finale) for all the groups is next week. I gathered Greek is following the pattern of many NPC orgs where new members can attend chapter meetings and even participate in chapter business, including nominate and/or vote in certain cases.

Evan and Frannie are getting boring, but I am so glad that they turned down the Omega Chis, that was exciting...

yes. I'm glad of that as well....although I could have done without Ashleigh's Angelina Jolie speech. I'm glad she FINALLY took charge but I wish it was more in a "because i'm president and say so" type way.

^^ I think she did but in an, “I’m Ashley and this is how I’m standing up and saying I’m president” kind of way. I mean, she stood up to Casey, she asked Frannie for help, and she made everyone in the house happy. The speech was a little… weird, but it worked in her own “I’m sort of still uncomfortable with this new position” kind of way.
And... I haven’t been watching for too long, but every so often an episode makes me a little mad. It’s as if they almost go overboard with all of the Greek stereotypes all at once (i.e. Kirk/Kurt suggesting that all fraternity men smoke weed, the overly ditsy sorority girls, the goal of a threesome, hell week, the bribe using hot sorority girls in bikinis, etc.) Do these things happen? I’m sure some, if not all of them have. But I feel like sometimes they pack way too much into one episode and it’s the same organizations doing these things (KTG and ZBZ) and it makes the whole system look bad.
Will I stop watching because of it? Probably not. Is it sometimes a bit too much? I think so.

My impression of Ashley's speech was that she was doing the whole "politicians are supposed to inspire" thing, but I too totally could have done without her Angelina speech...

In KD NM's come late into sister' meetings, after stuff they can't hear. So it works for me that Rebecca was there.
Additionally, I remember one year where NM's were about to be initiated and they still voted and ran for office since they were just a week or so away from Initiation. So it all works for me.

At the end of the episode, when the members were kidnapping Rusty, did Dale call Cappy Chip?

For those of you not alive in the 70s, Cappie's whole schtick was straight from "Three's Company". The blonde girl was "Chrissy" and the other girl was "Janet" or "Jannette" or something similar (he kept mixing up the names but on the show, the real charater's name is "Janet". The male character, Jack, was always trying to get them into a threesome.
At the end of the scene, Cappie says something about someone "come knocking on my door", which is part of the show's opening theme song.
I thought it was brilliant.

Caught that from Nick-at-Night. But yes, it was super cute.

Yes. In an earlier episode, the two bonded in what looked like a boat during a drunken state and Dale nicknamed Cappy Chip.
